SUMMARY:LGBTQ+ friendly Ballroom Dance Classes Without Gender Stereotypes
DESCRIPTION:Wesbite\n\n\n\nRegistration\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nTwice a month\, come learn classic dance skills and enjoy some non-traditional movement. In each session\, we’ll focus on one dance from the Latin American or Standard ballroom group. Ball season is approaching – it’s the perfect time to refresh your steps! It doesn’t matter if you’re a total beginner or already an experienced dancer – our main goal is joy from movement and dancing!  \n\n\n\nCome on your own\, with a partner\, or with friends. Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable\, the most important thing is that you feel good and true to yourself! Just don´t forget to have comfortable non-slip shoes.  \n\n\n\nInstructor: Leo VojLeo (they/them) was ballroom dancing competitively for seven years and besides standard and latinamerican dances other styles as well. They have been teaching dance since 2019. It is important for them to keep their lessons a safe space where everyone feels good regardless of their dance experience. \n\n\n\nThe class can be bilingual if needed. Photos and videos may be taken at the event for the purpose of promoting dance services. \n\n\n\nThe fee for the lesson is voluntary. Suggested donation is 150 CZK per person\, payable on site via cash box or QR code. If you can’t afford it right now\, you’re welcome to join for free. \n\n\n\nThe number of participants per class is limited due to space constraints. DESCRIPTION:Website\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nTeenspace is a regular afternoon program at the LGBT+ Community Center\, held twice a month for LGBTQIA+ youth aged 13–21. \n\n\n\nEach meeting features discussions\, lectures\, workshops\, or creative activities\, always centred around a specific theme. There’s also time for free activities\, and you’ll have the chance to meet new friends. The program is conducted in both Czech and English. \n\n\n\nTeenspace events are organized by sbarvouven.cz and Queer & Trans Youth CZ. \n\n\n\nSecond Meeting of the Month – Support \n\n\n\nEach second Teenspace meeting of the month is dedicated to support. Teenspace is a safe space where we can share and not be alone with our problems. We can talk about emotions that are sometimes confusing or difficult\, help each other navigate challenging life situations\, learn strategies to regulate our nervous system (to cope with anxiety and depression)\, and build community through mutual support. DESCRIPTION:Wesbite\n\n\n\nRegistration\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nTwice a month\, come learn classic dance skills and enjoy some non-traditional movement. In each session\, we’ll focus on one dance from the Latin American or Standard ballroom group. Ball season is approaching – it’s the perfect time to refresh your steps! It doesn’t matter if you’re a total beginner or already an experienced dancer – our main goal is joy from movement and dancing!  \n\n\n\nCome on your own\, with a partner\, or with friends. Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable\, the most important thing is that you feel good and true to yourself! Just don´t forget to have comfortable non-slip shoes.  \n\n\n\nInstructor: Leo VojLeo (they/them) was ballroom dancing competitively for seven years and besides standard and latinamerican dances other styles as well. They have been teaching dance since 2019. It is important for them to keep their lessons a safe space where everyone feels good regardless of their dance experience. \n\n\n\nThe class can be bilingual if needed. Photos and videos may be taken at the event for the purpose of promoting dance services. \n\n\n\nThe fee for the lesson is voluntary. Suggested donation is 150 CZK per person\, payable on site via cash box or QR code. If you can’t afford it right now\, you’re welcome to join for free. \n\n\n\nThe number of participants per class is limited due to space constraints. It creates a space to experiment and share mutual experience and is also a start of a new season of the platform.Festival brings both emerging and established artists\, invites new work and creates an enviroment where queer culture is not just another subject but a regular part of shared space.This years motto „Forward March!“ comes from the need to continue ones work even when the current social and political climate brings more and more reasons for uncertainty. Even when her life was filled with pain\, until the end she became the „nonna“ of the comunity\, taking care for queer youth and being an active speaker as a survivor of horrors of Dachau. \n\n\n\nTHE MOONLIGHT COUNTESS – performative dream / lecture about life and times of Ota Tasinato\, homosexual man\, who beyond facsicsm\, hard communism went also through conversion therapy\, only to become the unforgettable Sonata Mondschein\, that czech queer history rightfully consider to be the first czech drag queen. His love for poetry and often naughty sense of humor comes alive in dance solo of Martin Talaga. \n\n\n\nLA ROMANINA- her very existence is an act of revolution.
