The Hidden Cameras / Café V lese

Baroque pop, indie rock, plenty of provocation, and explicit lyrics. The Hidden Cameras, led by Joel Gibb, burst onto the music scene in 2001—and have since maintained their status as one of the most distinctive queer music projects of today. They describe their sound as “gay church folk music” and perform in churches, galleries, and cinemas. But their concerts are about more than catchy melodies and honest lyrics. In the past, their live shows have featured masked dancers, a choir, and a string quartet. Now frontman Joel Gibb is heading to Prague’s Café V lese, where on November 3, 2025, he will present the band’s latest album, BRONTO.
