Faith in Rainbow Colors
May 15 | 19:00 – May 17 | 11:00

Following the series of audiovisual projects “Faith in Rainbow Colors” (Víra v barvách duhy), we have organized a three-day, multi-genre queer festival for this May. In the spirit of our previous projects, the festival aims to explore queer themes within a Christian context. This will be the first event of its kind, highlighting the potential for a positive connection between the queer world and the world of Christian spirituality.
At the same time, we intend to take a firm stand against the misuse of Christianity to suppress human rights and civil liberties—a trend we have witnessed across the world, from East to West, in recent years.

About the Organizers
The program is being curated by myself, Tobiáš Frýdl (author of the Faith in Rainbow Colors project), together with my parents, Adela Frýdlová and David Frýdl, pastor of the Hussite Church. The event is hosted under the auspices of the Religious Community of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church in Prague 10 – Vršovice, with support from the State Culture Fund of the Czech Republic.
“We want to show a different face of Christianity—one that does not denigrate human rights, but stands up for them…”
