From Silence to Pride
August 3 | 10:00 – August 9 | 20:00

From Monday, August 3, to Sunday, August 9, always from 10 am until 8 pm.
A mixed-media art exhibition traces key moments in Czech history through the lens of LGBTQ+ memory, identity, and visibility. Rather than presenting a strict chronology, it offers a visual journey through the stories, experiences, and struggles that have shaped queer lives across different eras.
Through collage, painting, and other visual art forms, the exhibition explores how love, identity, the body, and community have been influenced by social and political change. Each artwork serves as a fragment of memory, reflecting themes of silence, resistance, transformation, and pride.
The exhibition invites visitors to look beyond major political events and historical milestones, and to discover history through the lives, emotions, and experiences of people whose stories were often overlooked and erased from official narratives.
