Behind the name REDD. lies a childhood in Ethiopia, adoption to Australia, and growing up in Melbourne with a non-binary identity and a sense of being an outsider. A self-taught pandemic project turned, three years later, into an artist with a record deal at Island/Republic Records and a debut mixtape, RAUNCH.
