Lucy Salani, Ota Tasinato and Romina Cecconi – three legends of LGBTQIA+ history, that come alive in the interpretation of drag queens Venice and La Trave Nell ´Okkio.
I AM LUCY – monodramatic sketch about life and times of Lucy Salani, only known trans woman that suffered through hells of second world war and Dachau concentration camp. Even when her life was filled with pain, until the end she became the „nonna“ of the comunity, taking care for queer youth and being an active speaker as a survivor of horrors of Dachau.
THE MOONLIGHT COUNTESS – performative dream / lecture about life and times of Ota Tasinato, homosexual man, who beyond facsicsm, hard communism went also through conversion therapy, only to become the unforgettable Sonata Mondschein, that czech queer history rightfully consider to be the first czech drag queen. His love for poetry and often naughty sense of humor comes alive in dance solo of Martin Talaga.
LA ROMANINA- her very existence is an act of revolution. Romina Cecconi, icon of italian LGBTQIA+ community and also first italian trans woman to have her documentrs assigned to her correct sex speaks to the audience as a reminder that being yourself is the greatest gift of all.
